Back in December we learned about the different layers of the Earth during topic. We created clay balls with the inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust. We also drew pictures and took notes. Learning about the layers of the Earth also helped us to learn more about landforms and will help us when we get to our rock unit. Check out some of our pictures of the layers of the Earth!
In topic we learned about different landforms around the world. We studied things like mountains, buttes, canyons, islands, and more. After we learned about each kind, we each picked our own landform and learned 5 facts about it. Then we were able to build our landform out of paper mache. Today we painted them and took pictures of our final products. We know all about landforms now, ask us!
