Today ELF joined our classroom to teach us more about designs in nature.  Today we learned all about leaves.  We got to make nature creations and leaf rubbings.  Then we wrote about what we learned in our Science Notebooks!  ELF was a lot of fun!  Thanks to Mrs. Stewart and Ben's mom, Mrs. Smith.

This month we began a new unit on communities. Each child created their own house out of shapes. "Our Community" shows where live in relation to one another and how we can create a community.

At the beginning of the school year we gathered data and calculated how many letters in each student's name. Then as a class we created three different graphs.
